Gran Canaria
During the year Dave rashly said ‘Come and join us in Gran Canaria’ so we did.
We met at a self-catering bungalow complex at Maspalamos in the south of the island close to the famous dunes. You can see the pool in the first photo, the water was freezing, but Carol regularly took a dip. Dave and I were afraid of bits dropping off so we watched Carol. Sue will not go in anything that is not steaming.
On the 24th January Carol celebrated her 60th birthday hence the photo of her with the flowers, which had arrived a few minutes previously from her Hohne friends.
In the evening we had drinks on their patio and then went out for a meal followed by ‘digestifs’ on our return. Needless to say this became the pattern for most of the holiday.
