On Sunday Sue and I did a geocache in the New Forest. The start point was Puttles Bridge (a lovely name). It took us on a super walk which would have been even better had the weather not been overcast. En route we encountered this hairy beast. Fortunately he appeared friendly; there was no fence between us. Speaking to the local ranger, who had his house nearby, this beast belonged to him and he was just hanging around for a snack. There is another one like him, only larger; he is nicknamed John Wayne because of the way he swaggers down the road.
